About Stacy
IN HER OWN WORDS
Wife, Mom, Sister, Friend.
Twenty years after receiving my first paycheck for a published article, I still feel a little shocked (and kind of nauseated) seeing my work in print.
I graduated from Kenyon College with a degree in Economics which seemed sensible at the time. I spent my junior year at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and later, received an all-expense paid M.B.A., which seemed even more sensible. Unless what you really want to be is a writer.
We live in the town I grew up in on the Lake Erie shore. It may not be especially adventurous to raise your children in your hometown where your friends’ kids are your kids’ friends but “for me, the boundary lines have fallen in pleasant places.”
